The success of Multitiered Systems of Support (MTSS) rely on a collaborative relationship amongst teachers, support staff, administrators, and educational partners—including students. In this session, participants will learn about strategies to ensure that all voices in the school community equitably provide input to develop culturally sustaining Tier 1 practices. Participants will review their own strategies and develop an action plan to identify ways in their control to revise their Tier 1 practices and learn about new strategies that will provide a safe and welcoming environment for all students. At the end of the session, application information for the demonstration project funds will be shared.
