Dr. Clay Cook, Character Strong
This keynote will explore how a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) serves as a powerful framework to organize and integrate social, emotional, and behavioral supports alongside academics, ensuring equitable access for all students. Dr. Clay Cook will go beyond foundational concepts or simple images of MTSS, diving into the critical need for shared clarity on the specific, daily behaviors and practices educators must consistently implement to ensure every student is able to access the level and type of support they need for success in school. Participants will gain practical insights into low-burden, high-impact practices that empower educators to deliver targeted and universal supports seamlessly. Real-world examples and actionable takeaways will inspire leaders and practitioners to enhance their MTSS implementation and ensure every student thrives in an inclusive, supportive environment.
At the end of the session, application information for the demonstration project funds from MDE will be shared.
