9:00-10:00 - MSCA Legislative Agenda, Legislators Speaking to Assembled Counselors
10:00-3:00 - Meet with your Legislator(s) (please make appointments beforehand)
Lunch on your own

If you're attending for the first time or are hesitant to attend because you don't know what to do? Don't worry!!! We have enough seasoned veterans who will assist in making this a great experience for you. Plus, we will give you a quick training before we all go out to advocate for our profession and our students! Please make appointments with your legislators and someone will go with you to assist in getting the MSCA message to all if you would like the help!

APPOINTMENTS

Contact your legislators to make an appointment for Day on the Hill 2011. If your legislator is unavailable at that time, ask to make the appointment with their assistant. Appointments should run 15 - 30 minutes. Make your appointments between the following hours 10:45 - 1:15.

If that time does not work on Monday - take any time they give you - it is of the utmost importance that you connect w/ your legislator face to face!

Your participation in MSCA Day on the Hill 2011 is vital to the successful passing of our legislative bills this year. Make plans to attend! The Government Relations Chair for your division will be sharing more information as it becomes accessible.
